Hi! We’re Elif and Selman — the duo behind Sedels, a name stitched together from our own.

Sedels began with a simple idea: to share small, meaningful things made by skilled women artisans in Turkey. While Elif curates each design and works closely with our maker network, Selman keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. Together, we’re building something that connects stories, hands, and hearts across borders.

And if there’s one word we hear the most at markets, it’s “cute.” To us, it’s more than a compliment — it’s a little reminder that what we’re doing is working. That joy can be small, soft, and handmade. That a tiny plush or a colorful clip can make someone smile without saying a word.
